plain jane
I'd like to hear some reviews from those of you who have used either this or this? Are they worth the cost to supplement TWSS? I'm looking for a bit of help to make IEW more pick-up and go.
MIch elle
and like it a lot. I didn't do well with IEW TWSS or SWI A (sold it). IEW History Based Writing lessons ARE pick up and go. My older ds used U.S. History Based Writing Lessons v1 in grades 7 & 8. We also have IEW Medieval Writing. All of IEW history writings are written by Lori Verstegen. IEW Fables was written by someone else. If I had younger dc I might have tried IEW Fables first but I don't. YES, they are WORTH it to those of us that can't get TWSS to work for our family. Kathy in NC
We also used the American History a few years ago. These programs really helped me implement the IEW way into our writing. It is definitely "pick up and go"; and the Ancients book is written to the student! We both love it.

Quiver0f10
We are using Ancient History Writing this year with grades 8, 7 and 5 and we are really enjoying it. I haven't done TWSS, but I find the themed books easy to pick up and go.
