Have done some IEW, Hake writing, a few years of Calvert, WTTW and H2Teach. I am looking for something the will give instructions but encourage thinking and argument formation. Rubric needed for grading. Last semester kids were writing 5 paragraph essays each week. Free Indeed Posted February 21, 2017 Share Posted February 21, 2017 (edited) I would look into The Power in Your Hznds by Sharon Watson if you just need more practice on different types of writing. Once I feel proficient on writing we just write- using prompts from their history or any prompts you can find online. For argument formation you may look at CAP writing or Lost tools of Writing- but not sure if either of those have a ruberic to grade by. Maybe Writeshop level 2?
