poppy
My 8 year old is joining an farm coop this fall. She will be with livestock plus in gardens plus mucking around in ponds. In the pictures , all the other kids are wearing big rubber handle boots (with shorts). They look like Bogs. We LOVE Bogs, but, they are a winter boot to me. Do I buy the rain boot instead of the winter boot? Or is the winter boot year round? Is there a good alternative? I want to get the right thing. Thanks! trulycrabby
Bogs kids rain boots. Amazon has a bazillion of them, but you might see if shoebuy.com or 6pm.com is cheaper. https://www.amazon.com/Bogs-Kids-Solid-Rain-Boot/dp/B01I0I031E/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1486756867&sr=8-9&keywords=Bogs+kids+rain+boot
Raifta
I wear my regular Bogs (so I guess the winter boot version no the rain boot version) year round out at our country property and so do a lot of folks I know out in the that neck of the woods. I don't find them to be overly warm and they are so comfy that a little bit of extra heat is something I am willing to accept.
MotherGoose
What's your climate? My kids just wear basic target brand rubber boots. Or ideally I find them at the consignment store. There is no insulation in them at all, but I'm in southern us and so cold is not a problem. Heat is. :)
