poppy
My 8 year old is joining an farm coop this fall. She will be with livestock plus in gardens plus mucking around in ponds. In the pictures , all the other kids are wearing big rubber handle boots (with shorts). They look like Bogs. We LOVE Bogs, but, they are a winter boot to me. Do I buy the rain boot instead of the winter boot? Or is the winter boot year round? Is there a good alternative? I want to get the right thing. Thanks! SKL
Last summer I needed rubber boots for my kids to go to farm camp. I found good ones at a good price at WalMart. They are thick enough to not get holes when walking on stones, higher than usual rain boots, and they have tread. They worked great, and now my kids are using them for snow boots too. :) Might have been this one: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Girls-Basic-Colorblock-Rain-Boot/36483781 Edited February 10, 2017 by SKL
