The only one I ever found was an old fashioned, out-of-print book which my kids and I think is highly entertaining. It may not be PC (FYI). I buy quite a few old books and have become adept at editing on the fly when necessary. fralala Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 It's easier to find books about Virginia in general with chapters on history, like Virginia by Deborah Kent and Virginia: the Old Dominion by Lisa Owings. There's also a pretty picture book called O is For Old Dominion by Pamela Duncan Edwards. Marion Dane Bauer has an easy reader about Virginia and Washington, D.C. I like the "A Picture Book" series by David A. Adler for books about George Washington, Jefferson, and Robert E. Lee. If You Lived in Williamsburg in Colonial Days is another one that comes to mind.
