Thanksgiving venting thread

Yes, we all have things to be thankful for but holidays always seem to bring forth situations where some venting to those uninvolved helps.

I'll start:

For years I have cooked meals that conform to whatever eating plan dh has decided to follow that week. Lately it has been low carb. I am trying to cut back on fatty foods. Dh had a fit when I asked him to not use a butter and bacon concoction on our turkey. He is mumbling and sulking like a 3 year-old. It is so frustrating to do so much for others and to have a rare request be treated as unreasonable.
