ISO Best Non-Animated DVD(s) for Arabian Nights

I bought a book of tales from the 1001 Arabian Nights for my kids, and I am thinking of giving it to them for Christmas along with one or more DVDs.  Usually I give them a book or book set, and a movie or movies to watch after reading the book.

 

I don't want a cartoon.  An old movie would be great.  An old series might be even better.  It should be something really well done.

 

Suggestions?
