arcara
I keep reading more and more good things about the RS4K program on this board. It looks kind of expensive to me, though. Do you only use the student text, or do you also use the teacher's manual and student pages? It wouldn't be so bad if I only need the student text, but I don't know if that's enough. I'm currently using Adventures with Atoms and Molecules for chemistry with my 3rd grader, so it would be in addition to this. Thanks! Melmc
I use the teachers manual, the student text and the student workbook (though we don't write in that.) Mine are borrowed though. I don't like the Language Connects and either did my 5th grader. I didn't try it with my 3rd grader.
Shasta Mom
I got the textbook, teacher's guide, and lab manual. The teacher's manual has some extras in it to help you understand, and to give the student a better understanding. Without doing the labs, I would give the program a thumbs down. Using the text and then the labs makes the course.
