You get all the current Mysteries free for one year (12-units, plus 3 units that are partial k-1 units). All new content will not be included in the free year. Super-easy -- we blue-toothed it to the television (apple tv) and watched it all together. My youngest, especially, liked it. Most likely, we'll be using it as a supplement. I think one could totally make a stand-alone program from it, if you include more outside reading, etc, but I don't plan on doing that (we'd already purchased our science for the year).
