JanetGrace
Hi! I just signed up today. I'm looking forward to learning from other's experiences. We have four kids 6 and under and live in Switzerland. I'm forming my philosophy of homeschooling and currently plan to use a mix of child-directed learning (Project-Based homeschooling style or unschooling) and adult-led education with high standards (that's where classical education fits - also to catch me up!), with the idea that the adult-led part is kept short and sweet but consistant over time (maybe Charlotte Mason style?), and with an overall focus on character growth. I have one kid who wants to learn everything himself and one who loves adult-led activities. I'm looking forward to the adventure! Any tips of where to start on the forum are appreciated! Monica_in_Switzerland
Hello! :-) You might not get many responses here, most traffic is on the general and curriculum boards! So happy to see you!
desertflower
Welcome! Monica is right. There's actually a more specific forum titled prek/k that may be of interest to you. Have fun. :)
