Amira Posted July 1, 2016 Share Posted July 1, 2016 I just put our travel dates together with my history dates and realized that we'll be in Paris on Bastille Day. We have a very limited time in Paris- is it worth being there on Bastille Day if we want to see some of the more typical sites? Or is it a good day to be there? Or should we drop our other Paris plans because being in Paris on that day is totally amazing? We could spend a night or two in Paris on the back end of the trip if that would be smarter. Seasons Posted July 1, 2016 Share Posted July 1, 2016 The fireworks at the Eiffel Tower are spectacular. Huge speakers playing classical music are set up in the park at the base of the tower and the fireworks are choreographed to the music. There is a parade down Champs Elysees, very patriotic.
