Hospital safety

I've posted a lot on here about always having a family member, friend, or paid help (listed in descending order) when a loved one, particularly an elderly loved one, is hospitalized.

Ask questions. Write down everything. Be sure you are there when the doctors round. Ask about what it will take to get the patient discharged.  Document, document, document.
