I didn't see another thread, so here goes:

Yesterday, was a rest day.

Today, it's a good thing I have a Zumba class b/c it's rainy and cold and I would be sorely tempted to just sit in front of the fire.  Current plan is to do my rotator cuff exercises and possibly the rest of my upper body workout and go to Zumba.

Hey there! :seeya:  Did 30 minute Zumba toning dvd on Sunday, 40 minute Latin Jazzercize on Monday, came home from work today and got in a quick 20 minute "ab blaster" version of the Jazzercize dvd before laundry, shower, making pizza and taking the kids to the library.

Yesterday, I did upper and lower body strength training. Wiped me out!

Lower: (Rec. by trainer) deadlifts, squats with weights, single leg deadlifts, cable kickbacks, and a combo of glute bridges plus clamshells with a resistance band.

Upper:  (Rec by PT) , Rotator cuff (abduction and scaption raises) , incline rows, incline shoulder extensions, and push-ups (both tricep and wide stance) on a Smith machine (I did my first one from about 4 in above the floor this week! Am so excited to possibly get to a real, full length push-up on the floor.)

Today will be Zumba. Hopefully, I'll get in 10,000 steps.

Picked up some new Zumba dvds at the library. Wednesday and Thursday I tried out the 30 min. Santao. Great ab workout, really liked it. I have to work on something I'm doing at the very beginning though, because I'm hurting my left lower back. One of the problems of working out at home is no mirrors to watch myself. I like this one, so I'll get dh to watch me this weekend (poor guy) to see where I'm going wrong.

Gave the 60 min. Exhilerate another try today. I managed to get past the co-host and costuming a bit better today, and just workout. Hopefully I can get past the mental 'Zumba for strippers' I have created after the first run-through.  :tongue_smilie:

Have you tried any of Youtube's Zumba? Here are some I like:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OBUSTrZOMk  This has about 4 routines that repeat so abt 15-20 min of different stuff, then it repeats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cc8GBmzkI8w  and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k3IuQOH01Q  All have pretty straightforward moves which I like b/c I can focus more on the exercise. The last one will burn up your legs/glutes. This one is good for jacking up your heartrate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQ-c70dkp1c
