A home for their hearts
my dd is in second grade and I want to start teaching her cursive. I can't afford to buy anything right now so I'm looking for something I can pull from the internet. thanks
Cynful
I'm using this with my kids right now. It's wonderful. Then you can go back and create your own traceable pages with your own words, etc. once they have the strokes down. http://www.kidzone.ws/cursive/ Another that is good too (though better, imo, after you complete the kidzone one): http://www.enchantedlearning.com/letters/ I also have several other links for traceables. Let me know if you'd like them. HTH,

Jenn in Mo
I've tried several things, but never found what I wanted. Instead, I printed a copy of the Palmer Method Alphabet and have started working my boys through the ABC's with that. It seems to be working pretty well. Cynful
Ok... :) you asked for them. This one has both writing and handwriting links: http://www.sabine.k12.la.us/zes/writing/default.htm This one I love printing out their lined paper, you can choose the size, but they have lots of other options here too: http://www.handwritingforkids.com/handwrite/ Another: http://www.writingwizard.longcountdown.com/handwriting_practice_worksheet_maker.html I really like traceables and its all I've used for teaching handwriting and, now, cursive. Sheri
Donna Young has reworked her website and has some great information on how to make your own cursive handwriting pages. There are printable handwriting sheets as well. http://www.donnayoung.org
