Just out of curiosity, and if you don't mind sharing, what do you find objectionable about the singing happy birthday?

Is it the fact that Christ wasn't actually born on that date? Or maybe that you want Christmas to be different from and more special than 'ordinary' birthdays? Or something else?

I'm also not Denise in Florida, but I don't care for the "Happy Birthday Jesus" cakes and singing, either. Yes, we can and should celebrate the fact that "the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us." However, singing "Happy Birthday" to the one who is "the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end†seems to me a little irreverent. Also, Christmas isn't Jesus' birthday. (I intend no disrespect to those who choose to do this and have no doubt of their good intentions.)
