Laurie4b
I tried making a lotion out of refrigerated coconut milk, and had to add a little oil to it to get it to a creamy not soupy consistency. It has worked fine, but supposedly it only keeps a week and so I put the rest in the freezer. I don't know how it's going to go scraping some of the frozen stuff out for the next batch! Anyway, I wondered if any of you had a simple recipe for a basic moisturizer. I am especially looking for something that is effective for older skin. mohsmom23
I made my own body butter using this recipe. I like it, but I don't love it. It's really oily for awhile until it soaks in so I usually only use it at night. My dh and dd use it all the time though, and it works well for them.
MIch elle
coconut oil with added essentials oils - a little goes a long way (both from amazon) body scrub - coconut oil with essential oil and salt (1 TBS oil, few drops of EO and a 1/2-1 tsp salt OR sugar)
