She mentioned repeatedly that I should let my kids live a normal life when she was telling me about the bangs in her house (i.e. not homeschooling and plenty of organized sports). I refused to engage in the topic with her because my life is none of her business. The city official wondered if she might have a problem with homeschooling. OMG.
