Sebastian (a lady)
Consider this the next installment in the CA Guide for Homeschool Counselors. This refers to what you see when logged in as Counselor after clicking on an individual student.. After you upload the transcript and other initial documentation for a student and have answered the school profile and student related questions, you will get a prompt to review and submit. This will generate a pdf of the documents for the student, starting with a computer generated summary report of what you put in all of the various question blocks. After you submit, you can't go back and change the School Report for that student. After submit the School Report section for an individual student, several more sections will be unlocked for you to complete for that student. Counselor Recommendation - Comments about the student Optional Report - Place to correct a previous submission or to provide grades that don't fall at a semester break Mid Year Report - Place for a transcript showing grades for the middle of senior year Final Report - Final high school grades, only sent to the college that accepted the student and that they intend to attend or to a school they would attend if they are pulled off of the waitlist. I have taken some notes on what shows up under each of these reports, so you know what sort of information you can give.

Sebastian (a lady)
MID YEAR REPORT From CA help menu: Which info should I include on the mid-year report? MidYear Reports should be submitted as soon as possible after first semester or trimester grades are available. Please plan to submit a Midyear Report for any student who still has one or more pending applications, along with a transcript or grade report reflecting the student's current schedule and grades. The Common App Online School Forms system does not send reminders about these forms, nor do counselors receive invitations to submit as they do with the Secondary School Report. It is the student's responsibility to keep track of this requirement and ensure that the counselor is aware of it. How do you report class rank?
