All I know is I left Doran's Thread and the first thing I saw was your subject line...

I take one of our portable dvd players, stick it in the book-holder thing on my treadmill and watch Firefly episodes.

 

Woohoo! Firefly! Why didn't I think of that?! Love the portable DVD idea....

And I did walk, for 20 minutes. I can't believe how out of shape I am! :001_huh:

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't exercised in months :blushing: and I did an hour of Pilates today. Towards the end, I thought I was going to die. I've gotta get back in the habit. :tongue_smilie:

Now you can post on the daily exercise threads. We are a very encouraging group.

 

I usually walk outdoors, but just as I headed out this afternoon, the rain came down. Since I'm made of sugar, I thought I might melt. :D Instead, I headed upstairs to the bonus room and my exercise bike. Normally, I take magazines or a book to read, but today, I listened to an audio book on my iPod and watched the rain out the window. It was a good workout!

 

Every step on that treadmill is a victory!

Oh yes! Come join us on the exercise thread! I just joined it last week as I started exercising last week. I did 20-30 minute walks all week. This weekend I had dh pull out my mtn. bike (we have a thing to make it stationary) and I actually biked 20 min. this morning.

 

It's the hardest the thing to start, but one of the most satisfying feelings when you're done. I feel great for hours.
