Seasider
After the SOTW cycle we are moving along with HO for starting the cycle again in ancients. I am satisfied with HO as the history component, but wondered if any of you have devised a specific plan for integrating Biblical history events? We have done a thorough study of the Pentateuch over the last three years, as well as Matthew, so I'm hoping there will be plenty of memory pegs to connect with, but if anyone has something specific mapped out, I hope you might share. Otherwise I suppose I should plan a chunk of time this summer for drawing correlations.
Lang Syne Boardie
I've never used HO but I've got a workaround solution for you: This gal correlated a whole pile of Ancient History curriculum, including SOTW and HO: http://missedumacated.blogspot.com/2011/06/sotw-correlation-chart.html So print that out, and then compare with Paula's Archives correlating Egermeier or Vos Story Bibles with SOTW: SOTW 1 and Egermeier http://www.redshift.com/~bonajo/sotw1eger.htm SOTW 1 and Vos http://www.redshift.com/~bonajo/chowsotw.htm (SOTW being the link between HO and the Bible accounts, on these charts.) Hope this helps!
Seasider
Thanks, Tibbie, that looks helpful. Unfortunately, the link to the first set of correlations - the Rosetta Stone for this! - is invalid. Gives me some idea of how to tackle it,though, so I appreciate the info!
