Visual Latin - anyone used it for awhile? Long term results? Transition to Henle?

We finished GSWL in the fall, and have done nothing since then. I don't want them to lose what they learned, but I need something that has a good chance of getting done independently. And thinking Visual Latin may fill that need. So for those who have used it for a decent length of time, did it get done? How long did it take? Do you feel they are prepared to move into any Latin program? What are the gaps? My kids might do Henle down the road.
