Peaceful Isle Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 It's driving me crazy. I can't remember the name of this certain movie I watched as a kid. The story line goes something like this: ( as far as I can remember ) There were these robot " grandmas" that were made to be like a nanny to kids. One family with children, picked one out. She could pour orange juice out of her finger and chocolate milk( I think). This really weirded me out as a kid, lol. Well, as life has it, the kids grew up. I remember a scene were a few, maybe five, of these robot grandmas were sitting around rocking in their rocking chairs, at a place, like a nursing home maybe?. Then , one of the older kids came by, and wanted her to watch her kids now. The robot grandma never aged. Okay, it was probably one of those weird 70s movies, but , please help me out! Jenny in Florida Posted April 22, 2015 Share Posted April 22, 2015 I thought it sounded familiar, but I immediately associated it with The Twilight Zone, not a film from the 1970s or 80s. It turns out I wasn't far off after all.
