AndyJoy
I have been feeling sorrowful today, mourning the miscarriage of my baby in June. I felt lead to share this poem I wrote the day after it happened, in hopes that it may comfort others who have experienced this loss. When I see others with their precious children and yearn earnestly for a child of my own, I am comforted by knowing that God has a plan for my life, and will bless me with children when His time is right. Though I weep and mourn For this child not born, This small one I carried Who could not be buried, Has found release and perfect peace— Not sleeping at his mother’s breast But with his Father finding rest. by Andrea Redmond
Laurie in CA
Andy, (You deserve a big hug, I can't get them to work right now) What beautiful thoughts about your baby. It should definitely be on a card. I just had to write a note to someone who lost her baby at 28 weeks. Baby lived about a day....so sad. Kathleen in VA
Very beautiful - I can certainly relate to this. I, too, think it should be on a card. It is so hard to find words when someone loses a baby to miscarriage.

Praying that His peace will enfold you, Andrea. Your poem is lovely.

Just a Jen in Mississippi
I too have lost a baby. Your poem is beautiful......just perfect. And as the 5th anniversary of my loss approaches, the timing was perfect as well. Thanks for sharing and my God bless you!
