Nakia
In our quest to decide about science for next year, we are exploring chemistry options. It might be that we decide to do DE for chemistry in 11th or 12th, but I'd like to look at options in case my dd ends up doing it at home next year in 10th grade. I cannot teach her chemistry. I can attempt to help her, but I can't guarantee that I will be able to help a lot. I barely passed high school chemistry, and I have a fear of it. So what I'm looking for is a chemistry that is completely hands off for the parent. Does that exist? My dd is a good student, very bright, and quite mathy, ftr. I don't know if she's headed for a STEM career or not. I'm going to look at the big chemistry thread again.

Tsuga
Tutoring. Even CC and public high school may require help at home. Often college students will advertise for tutoring online.
