For the hard-to-shop-for person on your list. Taxpayers paid $113,000 for each of these; yours now for only $8000! Merry Christmas, citizen. Please step to the side.

This is not a political thread. Frankly, our country's willingness to stand up to the Terrorist Threat even if it means having to install pricey porno-scanners in every airport brings a tear of pride to my eye, and I don't want to hear anything negative about it.

No, I want to hear how you will use your personal backscatter machine as part of your homeschooling family's educational, social, and/or personal life. Think outside the box, as it were.

Ooooh! I bet that could totally help me keep an eye on my kidney stones. I've been having some twinges on my left side again. I think I could fit it into our office downstairs.

Listen, can you take the listing down from your post so the price doesn't go up too high? We're on a tight budget these days, and I can't afford to have any shills driving the price out of my range before the auction is over. Thanks!

ETA: Oh darn, I thought it would work as an x-ray machine. I was wrong. I'll have to keep looking. Carry on!
