Acadie
FWIW, I used to get carsick as a child and into adulthood. I spent days of our honeymoon in Greece feeling sick on ferries going island to island. My oldest also used to be miserable in the car, but when we went on a low histamine diet the motion sickness went away. Heat can be a trigger for people with histamine intolerance, too, because it can trigger the mast cell degranulation that releases histamine. It's possible that there's an underlying issue, like histamine intolerance or something else, that when addressed will give you more wiggle room with motion sickness as well as sun/heat intolerance. For carsickness alone, not reading in the car and having a breeze blow on my face would help (AC breeze would work as well as open windows).
