georgiagirl
Hello, Wanted to get some suggestions on what some of you are using for Bible for high school? I don't want a Bible Curriculum but something like a devotional and maybe some books to read , like Bible Study. Thanks. You can email me privately at godsgirlnga@yahoo.com Robyn:lol:
tinag
My ds(14) just read Do Hard Things along with the study guide. He really liked this book.I think next he will read I Kissed Dating Goodbye. After that I am not sure what we will be doing. I think a study on Proverbs. :)
FloridaLisa
Hi Robyn, Have you considered a Precepts study? I've done many Bible studies, but completed a Precepts study for the first time last year and I'm sold. Actually, my 11-yo was in a middle-school Precepts class that used the adult version. It was fantastic and he loved it as well. You might consider picking a book and working through with her. Lisa
georgiagirl
Hi Again, Are you talking about something from Kay Arthur? I want her to do Bible Study but something that is not overwhelming. She is going into 11th grade .Thanks!!!
FloridaLisa
Are you talking about something from Kay Arthur? Yes, Precepts is by Kay Arthur. The teacher last year cut the lessons down so that they were a bit more manageable each day. We will be doing that as a family this year, though my oldest is taking a Theology course at our church which will take most of his "Bible" time. kidzr1st
I was told Bible study could not be counted as a high school credit unless the college you go to accepts it. Is that correct?
