Guest jessiecms Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 Hello! My name is Jessica and I am going to be homeschooling my 13-year-old daughter this year. She is in 8th grade. We had an online public school all lined up, but then they told us she couldn't take math and orchestra at the brick and mortar school (it's a Colorado law that say kids can't be enrolled in two different public schools at once.) This was a blow to us. She was supposed to start today, but we just found out on Saturday. Soooooo, I have to scramble to come up with a curriculum. I have a degree in writing and was once a lit major, so I think I can handle language arts. But science is a bit scary to me! Any thoughts? Ideas? Advice?
