Momling
Assuming it's a general English class for adults, my favorite materials are OUP English File or American English File. The teachers book is scripted (in a good way) and can be a great resource with lots of games and activities to encourage communication. There's also a student book and workbook. Ask if you have questions about leveling or want other ideas.
CyndiLJ
There are many books from Pearson and their AGS or Pacemaker lines that are specifically for ELL learners, many of which are well suited for adult learners, too. Message me or email me CyndiLJ@aol.com as I'd love to talk to you about it, it is something I'd like to eventually do one day when we are through homeschooling. We have 3 ELL learners who I am educating :-)
