Mynyel
What is the difference between the two?
Gil
No 1st hand experience, but I found this link. Apparently, there is a guide book on Saxon Math written by someone named Art Reed, it might be worth investing in... I would say search the forums for Art Reed and see if any juicy nuggets turn up. AdventuresinHomeschooling
I have looked at both (because I picked up the 2nd edition free), and it appears that the differences are minor. The topics in the TOC are almost identical. Some of the lesson topics in the second edition are introduced as "investigations" in 3rd edition every 10 lessons or so. The second edition are hard bound and more durable. One difference is that the 3rd edition has the DIVE cd's available if you are interested in those.
