creekland
Since we'll be empty nesting in less than a month, hubby and I just got talking about this subject last night. Unfortunately... there is that bank account deal... esp with two kids in college! For the time being, heading to the Bahamas in Feb is going to have to be the only thing on our official agenda, but we both know we can now leave with that 30 minute notice (more or less since he is still working and has township meetings occasionally) if we see something special out there that's within our budget. There are some pros to empty nesting. I'm looking forward to being able to be more spontaneous again and costs for 2 are significantly less than costs for 5 (but having our whole family experience the things we did/places we went was absolutely priceless)! The cruise ship definitely doesn't fit our budget...
JuanitaL
So far my list is: 1. One week hiking the Appalachian Trail (I very recently hiked approximately 50 yards of it). 2. Mediterranean Cruise
MomtoCandJ
Well some are realistic and will be accomplished others, well we have to wait and see. - becoming a RN (going to start this next year :) ) - buy a house with lake access (totally doable around here) - lots of travel - adopt a child later in life when girls are older There's more but I have a child's room that needs a large purge :)
