rhrice3
Ladies, My ds will take the PSAT this year as practice. He is a sophomore, but I would like him to prepare for it. Which prep books do you guys prefer? Thanks ReneeR
MyThreeSons
I've had trouble finding test prep books which are specific to the PSAT. I'm using an SAT prep book with my 14yos now.
Kareni
Definitely have your son sign up for the The Official SAT Question of the Dayâ„¢; it's a fairly painless way of getting accustomed to the format of SAT and PSAT questions. Regards, Kareni
Beebalm
I bought Princeton Review's Cracking the PSAT for my daughter because their ACT prep was very helpful. She said it was almost exactly like the test and prepared her well for what to expect. I found the 2009 PSAT at Barnes & Noble. Good luck to your son. LaJuana
That's the book that a couple of my children have used and found helpful. The other really good book for preparing for both the SAT and the PSAT is the Rocket Review Revolution: The Ultimate Guide to the New SAT and the PSAT. It helps especially with test-taking strategies.
