Catherine
More information is needed. Does he have a learning disability? Can he read well? Do basic arithmetic? What "level" is he at right now?
Myra
FYI...it is not necessary to pass the New York State Regents exams as a home schooler. I am not planning on having my children take them at all. But it seems in your case, I think you are saying that you don't think your son can academically pass the test - that's a different cup of tea. Does your son have an IEP filed for learning disabilities? If so, there probably is some seperate testing considerations mandated by the State/local school district when, and if, he you decide he needs to take the Regents.
