Mandy in TN
I would like to hang this sheet with the long side parallel to the floor. What is the best way to do this without putting holes in the paper? TIA- Mandy
AmandaVT
Oh, I know this one! Roll it up and put paper clips to hold it, leaving maybe 6" or so of the 2' side free. Then attach to the wall with tape or putty or whatever you're using to adhere it and slowly start unrolling, removing the paperclips. Stop every 18" or so to add more tape. You can do it alone, but it's easier with a helper.
Mandy in TN
What to use to adhere it to the wall is the issue. What will hold the weight and not tear up the paper or the paint? Mandy
Um_2_4
Command poster strips??? (depends what you are going to put on the paper) Blue putty stuff that is used for posters (might tear the paper) How long do you want it to stay up? If for a while I would use the command poster strips, pricey, but they work and don't damage the paint.
AmandaVT
I used staples when I did mine, but it was at my work and they didn't care about the walls. :-) I use putty stuff for any posters I hang up in the house. Tape will work fine if it doesn't need to be up for long, but will fall off after a few weeks. The command poster strips sound good!
