classicmommy
Would Lyrical Science work for Lower Elementary? I read the workbooks are geared more for older elementary aged. But I am looking for something that I can use for science memory and that I can add projects/ worksheets too.
Incognito
It really depends on your kid. I have one of them (Life Science) and the kids have learned some from it. A lot of the songs are a bit fast. BUT, we don't use it as a curriculum, we just randomly have it on for fun. There are worksheets in the workbook, if you want worksheets. I'd think for lower elementary just listening to the songs would be adequate (and whatever projects you want to do).
mama27
I agree it depends on your kid. Mine didn't like them at all.
Lizzie in Ma
Our girls loved them and were singing along in no time. We play them in the car all the time. We've been known to sing them in the grocery store. :) I think they are brilliant and for us, easy to memorize because the tunes were familiar. Having the lyrics book helped a lot at when we were first learning them. They are great "rungs" early on to add content to as they get older.
