yarrow
I've been thinking for some time what would be the best history course for my son who is entering 9th grade. I really wanted to follow WTM recommendations or use TOG but after talking with my husband, we've decided that a textbook with some supplementation will probably work better for him. Now that we've narrowed that down - with two weeks before our school begins - what are your opinions on BJUP World History versus Notgrass world history? Thanks, Karen
Robin in Tx
Something that might help with your decision... BJU has an extensive TM that you really should use to some extent to get everything from the program that was intended. Notgrass is written to the student. Do you need something that gives the student opportunity to work independently? Or do you want something with a TM that follows along page by page? Quiver0f10
I had the BJU World history program and decided to use Notgrass instead because it looked easier to use /teach without needing the BJU DVD's. My son has used Notgrass US History and really enjoyed that so I think he is going to enjoy EWH this year too.
