Coco_Clark Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 I'm considering switching from Singapore PM to MIF next year. My son has done fairly well with Singapore 1 but I have to admit that its been a lot of work for me. This isn't the way I was taught math so I end up doing quite a bit of studying ahead out of the HIG. MIF seems more incrementally laid out and a bit more direct in teachng. I feel like I could teach straight out of the text book "as we go" and it seems looking at past threads this is what many others do. Does anyone feel the teachers guide is necessary for MIF 2? I have felt it be be necessary for PM 1 so I wonder if I'm just not as good at math as those that are free winging it. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
