When registering with the College Board, you indicate whether you are signing up for the SAT or the SAT Subject Test(s). Both tests are given on the same date at the same location. ETA: You will want to check the SAT Subject Test schedule on the College Board website because not every SAT Subject Test is offered each time the SAT is offered.
