Aoife
I haven't been on in a long time :p We are moving to NH this summer and my oldest (16 sophmore) wants to pull out and HS. I am now on the search for a good rigorous, secular science program for highschool level. We are good with lots of hands on! thanks!
Mom22ns
What science have they already done and what are you looking for?
Aoife
she has already done honors chem and honors biology and she has an interest in astrophysics :)
mjbucks1
Would she be interested in an AP level physics class? Ds is taking AP Physics B with PA Homeschoolers and loves it (he has not had any prior physics). Ds took AP Chem last through PA Homeschoolers and loved it as well. If you want something for home, I know there are many good texts available, but I am not sure exactly what science you are looking for (I know nothing about astrophysics....LOL....but I would think she would need to study physics first :))
Mom22ns
It sounds like she is ready for honors Physics :) Do you need a class? a teacher? or just a plan? If a plan is enough, you might read this thread. If you want an outside class, try looking at the outsourcing thread stickies at the top of the forum.
