Dmmetler Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Yes, but the fingerings aren't entirely the same, so make sure you use a recorder fingering chart. The big difference between the two is that Flutophones are only designed to serve as that pre-band, practical music reading experience for a year, while recorder is an instrument in it's own right and can be continued far beyond that first year, but both have a similar range and most beginning books for both contain many of the same songs.
