Annie Laurie
What components of Singapore Math In Focus are necessary? The student text and workbook, but do I need the teacher's edition, the assessments, extra practice, etc.?
umsami
I buy the textbooks used on Amazon, and then a new workbook through CBD. I do like having access to the teacher's guide for 4th grade, as I've never used a Singapore-style program before. I access it online for free, though....through virtual sampling. Annie Laurie
Thanks, ladies. Apologies for being so late in replying. I haven't ordered yet since my son was still finishing up his current program, but I'm ready to order now.
sbgrace
In case you haven't ordered, I used 1B-4A (so far, still using in 4th) without needing the teacher's manuals. I was new to Singapore thinking in 1B. It hasn't been a problem.

umsami
I use the TM for checking answers. Makes my life easier..but if DS gets it wrong, I actually work through it myself to make sure that the TM is not wrong. :)
