AEC
Hi- DS11 finished SM5B, including the IP, CWP & sprints...the whole ball of SM wax...and we're on next to AOPS pre-algebra. I'm looking for some experiences on how you used the various material they provide. As _I_ read the AOPS book, it looks rather instructional. It seems like the student should be the one reading the sections, thinking through the examples, etc. I'm tempted to treat it as a self-taught course and move myself into a Q&A + help + answer checking role rather than providing instruction. Thoughts? How about the on-line options they provide (not the classes...alcumus, videos, the forum, etc)...how did you incorporate those? TIA! -andy

Thanks! It seems like the 'teacher' section of alcumus is unavailable. Anyone know if that's the only way to 'assign' topics for students?
