Chrysalis Academy Posted August 6, 2013 Share Posted August 6, 2013 Yes, I find that reassuring as well as I contemplate my 2nd grader's schedule. I have to work Fridays, and there isn't much she can do independently (besides read, of course) so she's pretty much going to be on a 4-day schedule. Dd10 has things she can do independently on Fridays, but I always tell dh if he gets a wild hair to take them to the beach or something, they are allowed to blow it off!
