Dmmetler Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 This is one of those...sometimes you've gotta laugh...type situations. DD adopted a corn snake in Sept. One, singular, female corn snake. No males anywhere around, and, AFAIK, she's never been bred, since we adopted her from another homeschool family where she was the only snake. Well, said snake is now quite bumpy, and is going into a shed-the general consensus from the breeders I know is "Oh, she'll lay soon." Probably infertile eggs, but apparently there's even a chance that she could lay a fertile one, because corn snakes have been known to have parthenogenic eggs. Meanwhile, DD is 8-and I'm struggling with secondary infertility. Sigh.... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
