3monkeys
What vocabulary do you recommend for a rising 4th grader who hasn't done a formal vocabulary curriculum before?
warneral
I switched from AAS5 to R&S spelling 5 and there is some vocab mixed with the spelling:)
SilverMoon
English From the Roots Up. I used this with my older kids around that level. It was great for teaching them to see the parts and pieces of words. My current fourth grader didn't get a separate vocabulary program. Instead we put a little more emphasis on the derivative work in his Latin for Children book. (Latin study was the most efficient English vocabulary my older ones ever did, but EFTRU was a great way to get our feet wet.)
3monkeys
Any thoughts on Classical Roots? Also I was considering LLATL next year and it includes vocabulary but not sure how much. I need something straightforward with teacher helps.

Thank you!
BatmansWife
I'm going to use Marie's Words. There are more samples at Amazon. I also think these Hot Dots would be fun (you can zoom in on sample cards at Amazon).
