Looking for a handholding literature based, multi subject program?

I really need something with a lot of guidance and step by step lay out, including book list for my 9th grader. I don't have alot of time to research and make my own program but have decided I'd really like to use a more classical approach instead of a prepackaged text boo approach.

 

We've homeschooled for the duration, and have dabbled in the WTM philosophy while incorporating other ideas.

 

I'd love to give dd a really solid looking somewhat classical high school education, but I do have other young children and so want it prepared and laid out.

 

Is there such a thing?

Tapestry of Grace might fit the bill for you. There are samples on their site.

If your dd is self-motivated, there is TRISMS. The student has to be willing to put the effort into it, but it is all four years and includes history, literature, writing, humanities and some science. It can be used by the student, quite independently. You would still need to add math, foreign language and I would suggest additional science.

Omnibus is another option. It combines great books and history. It does a 3 year cycle, Ancients, Reformation and Modern. You can look at it at , http://www.veritaspress.com
