JuanitaL Posted April 11, 2013 Share Posted April 11, 2013 My husband and I were jogging (which is only pertinent because I really shuffle, pant, and in general have blood rushing through my ears nearly the entire time, it's not entirely conducive to a good conversation) and he mentioned that a guy from work was telling him that his wife went to a conference and really enjoyed it. It was her first conference, she was really excited to see - Matthew Consake. Then he looked at me as if I should acknowledge - yes, I also like ... Matthew Consake. I just gave him a blank look while I tried to keep my forward momentum going. He continued to tell me that they really like this guy at their house, love his corny jokes, the daughters were excited when Mom came home with a picture of her standing with him. (Now - I like to jump on every homeschool curriculum bandwagon, and my mind was whirling ... wondering what awesome thing I'm missing out on.) So I asked my husband - Who is this? I thought I was at least familiar with most of the big names, I've never heard of this guy, what's his schtick? Is it writing? science? what?!?
