Has anyoe used Notgrass for English?

We are going to be using it for History and wondered if anyone has used it for english and what you thought? My daughter will be going to college. And she is in the 11th grade.

the literature (some I swapped for other choices) and some of the writing assignments. Other times, I made up my own based upon what we were studying. We did essays, reports, oral presentations, compare/contrasts, fiction narratives, allegories, etc. I think we had a great year of high school writing/reading.

Amber, I would have except for a few things:

 

My dd did American Literature this year in 10th grade and she has already read all of the books listed in Notgrass.

 

There is no literary analysis in Notgrass.

 

If your dd hasn't read the books, or if she has only read a few of them and you can make other choices, and if you are willing to add literary analysis , then I think the literature portion of Notgrass would work fine. I really liked the looks of their writing topics.
