Blessed with seven
Hi, I want to do Singapore 1A and 1B but would like to switch to TT3 when they are ready. Should I use the Standards versions or US Editions? Thanks! Kim
swainsonshawk
Standards, definately. I have used the US editions for 4 kiddos and I am using the Standards for kiddo #5. I really prefer the Standards edition because it contains more practice with the concepts. I really like Singapore math for their way of thinking, but I always had to supplement the kids when we would come to a new topic and they were still confused by the previous topic. We'd stop and practice and I'd make worksheets and we'd eventually move on. Standards, having more pages and more practice--maybe I'll get out of the supplementing business! hollyh
Cuisenaire rods are great for manipulatives!
