HappyGrace
I'd like to see it, but I'm not good with watching any dead body/gory type stuff, so I wondered how much there might be? I mean, I think I've heard it's appropriate to the subject matter and not gratuitous, but just wondering---is it enough to bother a sensitive person? Thanks. Guest submarines
There are 3 short scenes that are gory, as far as I remember. The first one is the battle, where the focus is on individuals, not on the crowd, and one soldier dies a gruesome death, with the focus on him. What is happening around him is also gory. A very short scene. Then when Lincoln and is son visit a hospital and there dead bodies are shown. The third scene, at the end, the scene after the battle--corpses throughout. I'm sensitive, and I was "bothered" e.i. affected, but the main focus of the movie affected me much more. If you really want to see it, go for it. misty.warden
http://www.commonsensemedia.org/movie-reviews/lincoln mouse hover over the Violence rating (3/5) for a few details. Gore is kinda subjective.
